Meet Debbie

Debbie's Warm Creations was born from a love of family, fabric, and the stories stitched into every quilt. For over 20 years, Debbie has restored heirloom quilts and crafted new ones that become tomorrow's treasures.

Every stitch is placed with care, every pattern chosen with intention. When you bring us a quilt, you're trusting us with a piece of your family's history — and we never take that lightly.

What started as making her first quilt for her daughter's wedding, quilting became a calling. Today, Debbie works from her warm workshop, surrounded by fabric, thread, and the quiet satisfaction of bringing beloved quilts back to life.

What We Believe

The values stitched into every quilt we touch.

Every Stitch Matters

We treat each quilt as if it were our own family heirloom — because to you, it is.

Stories Live in Fabric

A quilt isn't just cloth and thread. It's a grandmother's hands, a child's first blanket, a wedding day.

Handcrafted Always

No shortcuts, no machines doing the delicate work. Every restoration and creation is done by hand.

Warmth in Everything

From the first conversation to the final stitch, we bring warmth, patience, and genuine care.

The Journey

From a single restored quilt to a legacy of warmth.

1997

The First Stitch

Debbie made her first quilt for her oldest daughter's wedding — and was instantly hooked. What started as a labor of love became a lifelong passion.

2001

Word Spreads

Debbie rented a small space on Main Street in a small Illinois town, quilting for others and sharing her craft. When a customer brought in a damaged heirloom quilt, she discovered a love for restoration — and her reputation for meticulous, caring work grew entirely by word of mouth.

2013

Custom Creations Begin

The first custom quilt commission — a memory quilt made from a late father's shirts. Debbie realized quilts could carry forward any story, not just restore old ones.

2015

Warm N Cozy Quilting

Debbie and her daughter Danielle opened a small shop on Main Street in Columbia, Illinois — just 800 square feet to start. Over more than 10 years the business grew into an impressive 5,000 square foot space complete with a storefront, classroom, and a longarm machine room with three machines running full speed finishing quilts for customers.

2026

Still Stitching with Love

Over 200 quilts restored or created. Every single one treated like a family heirloom — because that's exactly what it is.

Ready to Begin?

Whether you have a quilt that needs restoring or a story that needs stitching, Debbie would love to hear from you.
